Available in neutral or khaki, it’s the perfect transitional colour as we prepare for autumn.

The Wrap Tie Front Long Sleeve Shirt is also ticking the box for inclusive sizing, ranging from sizes 8-26.

Sainsbury’s bosses say: “Beautifully designed in a wrap-over style, our neutral long sleeve shirt is the epitome of modern elegance.

“It features a tie front fastening for a chic touch.

“Perfect for pairing with wide leg denim jeans and ankle boots.”

Their Tu Clothing creative stylist Katrina also hailed the bargain buy that can be dressed up or down.

Trying it on in her local store, she said: “The wrap shirt is a new take on a classic.

“Dress it up to maximise your style or wear it with jeans for more of a casual look.

“Whatever your preference, this must-have will elevate any outfit.”

And shoppers seem to be in full agreement, as one gushed: “Such a cute top.”

A second wrote: “Honestly I love it. Quality is amazing, don’t sleep on it.”

Meanwhile, a third said: “I have been loving Tu this summer.”

It’s not the only Tu Clothing piece that’s been causing a frenzy with fashion fans recently.

The supermarket’s ‘Black Smudge Spot Crinkle Mesh Midaxi Dress‘ has been hailed as a “standout piece” that can be worn in summer AND autumn – and it’s only £20.

Their creative stylist Katrina told shoppers to pair the “gorgeous” column frock with some gold jewellery for the perfect summer night look.

Reasons to shop supermarket fashion

When looking for new pieces to add to your seasonal wardrobe, or update your basics, there's no need to spend hours walking around clothes shops, or scrolling online. Just pick up a dress or two alongside your fruit and veg...

They’re convenient – Chances are you visit your supermarket more times than a shopping centre or high street.

It’s affordable – For basics  to more fashion-led pieces, supermarkets are leading the way for budget fashion that doesn’t look cheap.

They’re more on-trend that you think – With a customer database larger than the average high street store, shops like ASDA, Sainsbury’s and Tesco are able to cater to the markets and predict trends in a lot more areas than just food supply.

They fit well – Fits and lengths often come with a little more modesty in mind. Fabrics are often highly practical too—think plenty of 100% cotton that can be thrown into the washing machine without thought.
