Families will be able to take advantage of the free child places on selected hotel stays at Universal Orlando, for the first time in its history.

Currently, the holiday company is offering free child places on holidays at selected Universal Hotels for holidays departing between April 18, 2025, until September 30, 2025.

Package holidays with TUI always include return flights, accommodation, checked baggage and shared resort transfers as a standard.

Brits can bag a seven-night stay at the 3T Universals Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites on a room-only basis from £1,672 per person.

The price is based on two adults and one child sharing a standard double room, with flights departing from London Gatwick Airport on July 20, 2025.

Transfers are included as well as 20kg of hold luggage per person.

The free kids’ places are also up for grabs on 10-night stays at the 3T Universals Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites on a room-only basis.

Prices start from £1,837 per person, based on two adults and two children sharing a standard double room.

Flights will depart from London Gatwick Airport on July 27, 2025, with transfers and hold luggage also included.

Brit holidaymakers will have until September 2, 2024, to take advantage of the offer.

Your holidays with TUI will also come with ABTA and ATOL protection.

Phillip Iveson, commercial director at TUI UK&I said: “We know that our free kids’ places are hugely popular among our customers, so we’re excited that for the first time ever we’ll be expanding this to include some of our much-loved Florida holidays when choosing selected Universal Hotels.

“A destination that is a firm favourite among families, we’re pleased that we are the only travel company offering this incredible value promotion so that our customers can continue to create those all-important holiday memories together.”

The offer lands just after Universal announced what to expect from its fifth and final land at its new theme park opening next year.

What to expect from Epic Universe?

First announced in 2019, Epic Universe is the new Universal theme park opening in Florida.

The park will become one of the biggest in the country, with five lands across the 750-acre resort when it opens in 2025.

The first four have already been revealed – Celestial Park, How to Train Your Dragon, Super Nintendo World and Dark Universe.

The fifth and final land will be Harry Potter-themed, called The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic.

An official opening date in 2025 is yet to be announced, along with ticket prices.

Use these tips on your next theme park trip

Next time you visit a theme park, you may want to use our top tips to make the most of your adrenaline-inducing day out.

  1. Go to the back of the theme park first. Rides at the front will have the longest queues as soon as it opens.
  2. Go on water rides in the middle of the day in the summer – this will cool you off when the sun is at its hottest.
  3. Download the park’s app to track which rides have the shortest queues.
  4. Visit on your birthday, as some parks give out “birthday badges” that can get you freebies.
  5. If it rains, contact the park. Depending on how much it rained, you may get a free ticket to return.

Families can also start planning their 2025 staycations, as Parkdean Resorts released stays from £99 next year.

Haven has also launched its 2025 holidays, with stays from £3pp a night and cheap deposits.

Prices correct at the time of publication.
