Palestinian Officials Report Engineer Abdul Fattah Zarei and His Mother Killed in Israeli Air Strikes in Deir al-Balah

The Palestinian Information Center has reported that the acting Minister of Economy of Palestine in Gaza was killed Monday night in an Israeli airstrike on his home in Deir al-Balah, located in central Gaza.

The Gaza Government Activities Monitoring Office, in a statement shared with the Palestinian Information Center, highlighted that Engineer Abdul Fattah Zarei and his mother were killed due to Israeli fighter jet bombardments.

This incident follows the killing of Ihab al-Ghusain, the acting Minister of Labor of Palestine in Gaza, last month amid Israeli attacks.

Meanwhile, medical sources have reported that Israeli attacks across Gaza yesterday have resulted in at least 54 killed.

It is noteworthy that Israeli attacks on water and sewage facilities in Gaza have caused an environmental catastrophe, leading to widespread skin diseases and hepatitis outbreaks in the enclave.

The ongoing violence in Gaza continues to take a heavy toll on civilian lives and infrastructure, exacerbating humanitarian crises and escalating tensions in the region.
