Asha Kiran shelter home deaths: Delhi HC directs water testing, seeks report from authorities

Delhi High Court called the deaths of 14 Asha Kiran shelter home inmates a "strange coincidence" and ordered an inspection by the social welfare secretary. Most of the deceased had tuberculosis. The court stressed the need for curative measures and decongestion. The matter will be heard again on August 7.
