Paris Olympics 2024 Live Updates, Day 10: Lakshya Sen Aims For Glory And Maiden Medal

India will look for history to be created at the Paris Olympics 2024 on Monday (August 5) as shuttler Lakshya Sen takes on Zii Jia Lee of Malaysia in bronze medal playoff match. Lakshya went down fighting to defending champion Victory Axelsen in the semifinal on Sunday but can become first Indian male shuttler from India to win an Olympics medal.

In other action, table tennis stars Manika Batra and Sreeja Akula will look to put the disappointment of individual action behind them as the team event gets underway with India women’s team taking on Romania in the pre-quarterfinals.

The wrestling events also get going on Monday with Indian grappler Nisha in action in the women’s freestyle 68kg event.
