Ben Affleck Looks Like a New Person With Dramatic Hair Transformation Amid Jennifer Lopez Divorce Rumors

Ben Affleck may be entering a new era post his alleged divorce from Jennifer Lopez, and this era includes a dramatic hair transformation and a leather-clad look. Typically, when you’re going through a breakup, you want a change you can control, like changing your hair or your style. And now, it seems Affleck is shaking up both with an aux-hawk hairdo and a leather-clad, motorcycle-riding persona.

In photos obtained by People on August 3, we can see Affleck rocking a much, much shorter hairdo than his usual scruffy, long lock. With the shaved faux-hawk hairstyle, we had to do a double take to really make sure it was Affleck!

Along with that, he was seen sporting a very dark look and riding around Los Angeles on a blue electric motorcycle.

While we know this look doesn’t necessarily indicate anything about his alleged divorce from Lopez, this dramatic new look has raised eyebrows, especially with the timing of it all. However, we’re all for trying to find yourself and experimenting with new looks, so we’re happy to see Affleck trying something new!

For those who don’t know, Lopez and Affleck met on the set of the film Gigli. They started dating soon after and got engaged by the end of 2002, per People. In 2003, they postponed their wedding and then broke up days before, due to the paparazzi and pressure they faced, and were broken up by 2004.

Then, in 2021, Lopez and Affleck rekindled their romance. A year later, they got engaged and married in a lavish ceremony, but as of July 2024, breakup rumors have plagued them.

Affleck’s pals told DailyMail via OK that their romance started to crumble when Lopez released her cocktail line, despite her claiming she doesn’t drink and Affleck’s sobriety journey. His pals said it made him “sick,” saying, “Ben had to fight to get his life back after overcoming alcohol. Knowing how he lost everything, including the love of his family, knowing that he could possibly relapse, Jen decided to start her own spritzer line for more money, as if she did not have enough.”
