Road closures in NYC this weekend: Ecuadorian Day Parade, Brooklyn race
NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – Several parades and activities will shut streets in Brooklyn and Queens Sunday.
In Brooklyn, the Brooklyn Mile Tour closed part of Williamsburg starting around 9 a.m. and going through at least 11:30 a.m. The run will close Kent Avenue between Division Avenue and North 10th Street.
In Queens, the Myrtle Avenue Festival will close roads along Myrtle Avenue between Fresh Pond Road and Forest Avenue, and the Ecuadorian Day Parade will prompt closures on Northern Boulevard between 69th Street and 87th Street starting around 11 a.m.

The Brooklyn Mile Tour
- Formation: Kent Avenue between Division Avenue and South 10th Street
- Route: Kent Avenue between Division Avenue and North 10th Street
- Dispersal: Kent Avenue between North 8th Street and North 10th Street
Ecuadorian Day Parade
- Formation: 69th Street between Northern Blvd and 35th Avenue
- Route: Northern Blvd between 69th Street and 87th Street
- Dispersal: 87th Street between Northern Blvd and 32nd Avenue
