LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Team USA are the top seed and have drawn Brazil in the quarterfinals.

Team USA dominated the group stage of the Olympics, going undefeated and ending with the top seed heading into the quarterfinals.

Their opponent was unknown after group stage play ended since the Olympic process involves a drawing to decide who will play against one another in the knockout round.

Now that the drawing is complete, we know Team USA will play against Brazil on Tuesday, Aug. 6, at 12:30 p.m. PT.

Germany and Team USA, as the two top seeds, were automatically on opposite sides of the field. Teams from the same group could not be drawn against one another in the quarterfinals.

With the bracket now set, Team USA's road to the gold medal and who it can face are clear. If they beat Brazil, they'll play the winner of Serbia vs. Australia.

If they win that game, they will be in the gold medal match against either Canada, France, Germany, or Greece, depending on who wins on that side of the bracket.

Now that Team USA is in the knockout round, there is no room for error, but they should be able to take care of Brazil. The teams that could threaten Team USA include Serbia, which USA beat in the group stage, Greece, featuring Giannis Antetokounmpo and the home country, France, which has a budding superstar in Victor Wembanyama.

With a point differential of +64, no one has dominated men's basketball quite like the Americans.

They've had some shaky moments during the first half of select games and head coach Steve Kerr has tinkered with lineups, which has caused DNPS for Joel Embiid, Jayson Tatum and Tyrese Haliburton on separate occasions. However, overall, the games have clearly indicated just how big the gap still is between the USA and any other country.

In a team filled with America's best, none have played better than LeBron James. He is averaging 14.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and 7.3 assists and has started in every contest.

Anthony Davis has been incredible in his own right. Although he's only started in one game. The Lakers star is playing 17.6 minutes and averaging 8.3 points, seven rebounds and 3.5 assists.

The pressure is on, as this is LeBron's last Olympics. Team USA has won four consecutive gold medals and is expected to win its fifth straight in Paris.
