Saratoga Mom empowers adoptive families with coaching and education

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)—Francine Apy created SoulFilling, LLC, to help adoptive families celebrate and navigate their adoption journeys. Through coaching and a new children's book, she's on a mission to make adoption a mainstream topic at home, work, and school.

"I always had adoption on my heart, even before my husband and I realized we were not able to conceive and have Children," Appy said. "And quite honestly, things just fell into place. And here I am, you know, 23 years later."

Apy is an adoptive mom of three sons and has spent most of her adult life in the human resources department of various companies. In 2023, she founded Soulfilling to uplift adoptive families and provide community outreach.

"I started SoulFilling to be a beacon of light within the adoption community," Apy said. "Love doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful.”
