Government may free up non-solar hour grid connectivity

The Indian government deliberated on limiting grid access for solar power producers without storage systems to solar hours. This would free up the grid during non-solar hours for energy input mainly through storage systems. This initiative is part of the effort to reach 500 GW non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030.
