Paris Olympics 2024 Day 8 Live Updates: Manu Bhaker, Deepika Kumari Aim To Add To Medal Tally

The Day 8 of the Paris Olympics 2024 on Saturday (August 3) could see history getting created as Manu Bhaker will vie to become the first-ever Indian sportsperson to win three medals in a single edition of the Games. Bhaker will be in action in the women 25m pistol final, having already won two bronze medals in these Olympic Games.

In archery, veteran Deepika Kumari and Bhajan Kaur will look to bounce back from the disappointment of poor results in team events to try and bring home a medal from individual events. While boxer Nishant Dev will round off the day with his bout in the 71kg quarterfinals. A win for Nishant will secure at least a bronze medal for India.
