Justin Timberlake Won't Be Thrilled by the Latest Britney Spears News

Justin Timberlake is probably thrilled to be out of the headlines for a minute or two, but an ex-girlfriend with a story to share is about to thrust him back into the spotlight. Britney Spears’ memoir, The Woman in Me, is being turned into a Hollywood biopic film, per Variety.
This isn’t any ordinary movie either, it’s being directed by Jon M. Chu, who is best known for Crazy Rich Asians and the upcoming Wicked films. Timberlake won’t be excited by the news, but there’s a certain pop star who is thrilled that her book is in good hands. “Excited to share with my fans that I’ve been working on a secret project with #MarcPlatt. He’s always made my favorite movies … stay tuned 🌹🎥,” Spears posted on X on Aug. 1.
One of the most surprising revelations in her memoir involved Timberlake asking her to terminate a pregnancy during their relationship. “It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy. I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together one day. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated,” Spears wrote. “But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”
It’s clear that the “Sometimes” singer has regrets about being swayed to have an abortion. “If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father.” She added, “To this day, it’s one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life.” The news also shook up Timberlake’s marriage with Jessica Biel yet again.
A source told Page Six that their household was “a bit stressful” last fall when the Spears’ book was released last fall. It didn’t make Timberlake look like a very sensitive boyfriend at the time. “In recent years, Justin has tried to be supportive of Britney from a distance,” an insider told Entertainment Tonight. “They dated so long ago, but he still has respect for her. Justin and Jessica just want everyone to grow and evolve instead of continuing to bring up the past.”
Well, it looks like Timberlake’s past is going to be a part of Hollywood’s film future.
