Child ejected during crash in south Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — First responders said a child was ejected and injured during a two-vehicle collision in south Austin Friday.

According to Austin-Travis County EMS, the child was declared a trauma alert.

Officials said three patients were involved in the crash—one adult and two children.

ATCEMS said the crash occurred near the intersection of Menchaca Road and Boyds Way at approximately 10:30 a.m.
