Italian boxer Angela Carini quits fight against Algeria’s Imane Khelif

In the Olympic ring, Italian fighter Angela Carini withdrew from her match against Algeria’s Imane Khelif after 46 seconds. Khelif’s participation in the women’s matches has been under renewed scrutiny after she was disqualified from last year’s World Championships after the International Boxing Association said she failed a gender eligibility test.
