Govt assures to look into demand for higher pension, says pensioners body EPS-95 NAC

The government assured to consider increasing the minimum monthly pension to Rs 7,500 for 78 lakh pensioners after their recent protests. Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya met with the EPS-95 National Agitation Committee to discuss these demands, highlighting the financial difficulties faced by pensioners who receive as little as Rs 1,000 monthly.
