Sunshine and average temperatures to wrap up a hot week
What We’re Tracking
- Average temperatures Friday
- Heating back up next week
- Limited rain chances
With a clear sky and light winds from the north, temperatures are starting off in the upper 60's and lower 70s. A quiet start compared to Thursday night's storms.
Afternoon highs will max out in the lower 90's putting us closer to average for this time of year. Dew points look to stay bearable in the middle 60's to wrap up a hot week. This will be a slight relief from the high humidity and triple digit heat index we've had over the last few day. We may even get some slight breezes from the northwest up to 15 MPH.
After a stretch on hot weather with above average temperatures, we hold on to our seasonable pattern for this weekend. Middle 90s are expected Saturday with plenty of sunshine. The heat does make a return by Sunday and lingering through Tuesday reaching into the upper 90s to the lower 100s. A dry and quiet week ahead.
