A TEAM GB star’s dad is in a desperate scramble for a ticket to watch him compete.
Josh Tarling is set to compete in the Paris Olympics cycling road race but may have to do so without the support from his dad, Michael.

He revealed that some athletes are only allowed one ticket to gift to family members.
While mum Dawn and Josh’s partner Grace have managed to get tickets, Michael is still on the hunt.
He wrote: “Another plea…. Dawn and Grace have tickets for the cycling road race finish area tomorrow but I don’t currently have a ticket (athletes only get 1 ticket).
“If anyone knows of any athletes or officials that haven’t used their ticket allocation, please let me know.”
His post has been shared multiple times on social media as people try to get him a last-gasp ticket.
Some athletes are only guaranteed one ticket per session for their friends and family.

This is the case for those competing in the race walking, road cycling, shooting and swimming.
The reason behind the restriction is due to the seating capacity for those sports.
Son Josh, 20, arrived at the Games having just won the British National Championships Time Trial.
He is being backed as one of the favourites to win gold in Paris.
The men’s road race is a staggering 273km long which includes 2,800 metres of claiming and 13 ascents.
The race will take the riders past many of the city’s famous landmarks.
