Fulham Not Afraid To Walk From Scott McTominay Deal
Fulham are not afraid to drop their Scott McTominay interest if they feel Manchester United’s asking price is more than what they want to spend for the player, according to Sky Sports News.
The Cottagers have pocketed a significant sum from the Joao Palhinha sale and now they are looking to reinvest it.
They are about to land Arsenal star Emile Smith Rowe in the upcoming days and Red Devils midfielder McTominay is another player they are keen on signing.
Marco Silva’s side have made three bids for the Scot and the Red Devils have rejected all three of them.
Fulham’s latest offer was around £23m but Manchester United are holding onto their valuation of £25m to £30m for their academy graduate.
Even though Fulham are still in negotiations with the Old Trafford outfit for McTominay, they are prepared to walk away if they feel they do not want to match Manchester United’s asking price.
It has also been suggested that the Cottagers are already looking at other alternatives in the market in the event they fail to reach an agreement with the Red Devils.
Now it remains to be seen if Fulham and Manchester United will be able to reach an agreement for McTominay in the upcoming days.
