Celtic Join Crystal Palace In Tracking Teen Talent
Scottish giants Celtic have joined Crystal Palace in holding an interest in young winger Bazoumana Toure, who is on the books at Swedish side Hammarby.
Toure’s potential has not gone unnoticed in recent months and scouts have been booking tickets to Sweden to see him at close quarters.
Hammarby have been handing the Ivorian regular game time in the Swedish top flight despite the fact he is just 18 years old.
Toure is now a fixture in the side, scoring three goals and providing two assists in ten league outings.
Premier League side Crystal Palace are showing interest in Toure and they have now been joined by Celtic.
Celtic had a scout at Hammarby’s 2-0 win over Brommapojkarna ten days ago, according to Swedish outlet Fotbolldirekt.
The Bhoys’ representative was at the game to get a look at Toure; he scored in the game.
Hammarby are opposed to letting Toure go now, but bids arriving for the teenager this summer to test their stance cannot be ruled out.
