Love Island’s Hugo takes a savage swipe at ex Jess after he’s spotted kissing series 10 star – and fans are horrified
LOVE Island star Hugo Godfrey has horrified fans with a savage swipe at his ex Jess White after kissing a series 10 star.
Hugo was spotted snogging former contestant Charlotte Sumner at the boozy National Reality TV Awards after-party on Wednesday.
Just two day before, Hugo and villa partner Jess, 25, as they attended the final of the ITV2 show together in Majorca and insisted they were still together.
Following his boozy night out at the awards bash, Hugo took to social media to share a post of him suited and booted.
The snap showed him posing at the Porchester Hall in London with his fellow Islander Munveer Jabbal.
He ignored his snog with Charlotte and captioned the post: “Great evening at the National Reality TV Awards.”
But this didn’t go down well with fans who slammed him for having no self-restraint.
One wrote: “You didn’t have to embarrass Jess. You could have waited till you reached your hotel room.”
A second posted: “Not you already cheating? Very disrespectful.”
“You’re rotten for cheating on Jess,” a third fumed.
This person said: “Unfortunately you are snake to cheat on Jess last night.”
Someone else commented: “So disappointed! I were rooting for these two.”
While another added: “Calling her babe on her post yesterday and cheated last night.”
Despite vowing to make it work on the outside it appears that things are now firmly over between the pair after Hugo secretly snogged with Charlotte, 31.
Hugo and Charlotte had been guests at the NRTV Awards and got chatting after Love Island picked up the gong for Best Entertainment Show.
They later headed to the award’s swanky after-party in West London where revellers were quick to make use of the event’s free bar.
An onlooker told The Sun: “Hugo and Charlotte could not keep their hands off each other all night.
“It was clear that they only had eyes for each other and didn’t care who was watching as they enjoyed a slew of snogs on the dancefloor.
“They even found a quiet corner of the packed bar to have another passionate kiss.
“It made it pretty obvious that Hugo and Jess are very much over but she is still bound to be stunned to see he has moved on so quickly.”
Hugo arrived as a Casa Amor bombshell and quickly made a beeline for brunette bombshell, Jess.
The pair grew close in Casa and Jess even ditched her then-villa partner Trey to pursue her connection with Hugo.
A brutal dumping saw the couple axed alongside Blake and Emma, and on their return to the UK have were seen enjoying dates and jetted back together to Majorca for the final.
Just last week, Jess confirmed the pair were making a go of things as she said: “We’re still seeing each other.”
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Hugo added: “We’re just going at our own pace.”
Charlotte, a dental nurse, rose to fame on last summer’s edition of the programme but failed to find a long-lasting connection.
