Lisa Weintraub (‘Big Brother 26’) exit interview: Angela ‘has been bullying me since the beginning’

0

Week 2 in the “Big Brother” house ended Thursday night, with Head of Household Chelsie Baham escaping with almost no blood on her hands. A gobsmacked Lisa Weintraub was evicted by a vote of 11-1 over house pariah Angela Murray. The 33-year-old chef from Los Angeles became the second houseguest sent packing from Season 26.

“These players are really good at playing their game,” she told host Julie Chen Moonves during her exit interview. “This is not the first blindside of the season, so I’m used to this feeling. It just shows you that no one really had my back and no one was speaking the truth to me, which is really shocking.”

In her final plea before votes were cast, Lisa told her housemates, “Let’s stick to the plan.” So what was that plan? “Chelsie [said] that the target this week, after Kenney [Kelley] won the Power of Veto, was going to be Angela. Throughout the past two weeks, Angela has been causing chaos in the house, she has been personally bullying a lot of people, specifically bullying me since the beginning. The house fully agreed that they would evict Angela this week. Everyone discussed it. I have no idea [why they were lying to me].”

Julie explained that the house chose to evict Lisa over Angela because Lisa is the better player. “That’s very flattering,” she said. “I would have loved that opportunity to show them. I am good at things. I did win the first Veto. If they see me as a threat, get me out now, but I think there was a bigger purpose and a bigger cause that could have been demonstrated by my fellow houseguests this week.”

In her final thoughts, Lisa stated, “This has been an incredible experience. I’ve met amazing people. I have shown everything that I have become in this life, from personal triumphs to professional wins. I have represented myself authentically and with the integrity that I came into this game. I may not have won ‘Big Brother 26,’ but I feel like a winner because I have shown America who I am. For that I am very proud.”
