Wayanad landslide forecast bulletins experimental: GSI after Kerala disaster

Geological Survey of India announced that its landslide forecast system in Wayanad is currently experimental and under testing, expecting it to be public-ready in 4-5 years. Heavy rain-triggered landslides caused significant destruction and loss of lives. Forecasts are issued to local disaster management authorities for validation and not intended for public use.
