Bangladesh to treat banned Jamaat-e-Islami as a terror organisation

Bangladesh has classified Jamaat-e-Islami as a terror organization due to their involvement in recent student unrest and past promotion of terror. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina stated that the group may go underground and engage in destructive activities, urging citizens to remain vigilant. The government will implement the ban under the Anti-Terrorism Act soon.
