B&M shoppers rushing to scoop up Sol de Janiero body cream dupe scanning at tills for just £3.99
B&M shoppers are racing to get their hands on a 250ml Sol de Janiero body cream dupe scanning at tills for just £3.99.
A Facebook user spread the word about the luxurious lotion saying it smells the “exact same” as the more pricey version.
B&M are selling a dupe of the popular Sol de Janiero body cream called Booty Balm[/caption] The dupe is inspired by the Sol de Janiero body cream[/caption]She posted an image of B&M booty balm – a body moisturising cream – which is described as fast absorbing with a light and silky texture.
The excited shopper captioned her post: “Not sure if anyone’s put this on yet but if anyone’s looking for the Sol de Janeiro dupe from Poundland of Homebargains’s B&M now have one in their store smells the exact same in my opinion.”
The dupe is just a fraction of the price of Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream which is a steep £48 for a 240ml container.
The high-end cream is described as ” a sumptuous body cream scented with notes of pistachio, salted caramel and vanilla.”
B&M’s balm has received glowing reviews with one person commenting: “Love it it smells lovely and rubs in easy”.
It comes as a budget friendly shopper brought viewers along as she tracked down beauty products similar to a popular brand at three popular stores.
She scooped up as many Sol de Janeiro dupes as she could from Five Below, Bath & Body Works, and Target.
Self-described “TikTok sister” Amanda Turinksky (@amandaturinsky) loves a good deal and went on the hunt to find them.
In a TikTok video, she shared her “highly-requested” dupe haul of affordable products.
Amanda traveled to three stores to buy their vast selection of items similar to Sol de Janeiro.
And a savvy shopper has shared how she got her hands on a beauty buy that was similar to a well-known product.
While traipsing the aisles of her local Trader Joe’s, she spotted a dupe for a $48 Sephora skincare buy.
Reddit user Metalmommy82 loves a good deal and couldn’t help sharing her beauty haul on the platform.
She stocked up on the Trader Joe’s Brazil Nut Body Wash, $5.99, with coconut oil and shea butter, and the Trader Joe’s Brazil Nut Body Butter, $5.99, with acai and guarana extracts.
She admitted that she was “obsessed” with these products.
“They smell so good and the scent lasts all day for me. I’m so glad I was able to get my hands on them because Bum Bum cream is just too expensive.
She claimed it was a dupe for the popular Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream, $48, available at Sephora.
The body cream is meant to “visibly tighten skin” and reduce cellulite.
It is formulated with caffeine-rich guaranà and infused with the “warm, gourmand scent of Cheirosa ’62.”
Although it may not have body sculpting effects, Trader Joe’s version of the body butter makes you smell like stepped out of a tropical paradise for a quarter of the price.
