A SELF-PROCLAIMED sweaty woman has shared the setting spray that keeps her makeup from budging.
Despite her oily skin, she said her go-to spray locked her makeup down without issues.
Redditor Dailyhumdrum shared the beauty tip in a post.
She explained that the makeup find completely revolutionized her beauty game.
“I am THE sweatiest, oiliest face person you’d ever meet,” she said.
“I’m talking within minutes of doing anything to take it off my face.”
She revealed that the $23 Charlotte Tilbury setting spray made a huge difference in her makeup application.
“Put your foundation on your sponge/brush and spray the setting spray onto the foundation so it mixes in with the foundation,” she said.
She added that the tip is tried-and-true by professional makeup artists.
“Wayne Goss does a video on this, I’m pretty sure,” she said.
Once the cream products are on the face, she advised beauty fans to spray their makeup sponge with the setting spray.
After that, the sponge could be pressed into the skin.
“Lightly press the spray into your makeup all over,” she said.
“Finally when you’re completely finished with your makeup, spray with setting spray as normal.”
After trying many products on the market, she explained that it was the only one that worked for her.
“I have [gone] through all of the sprays, and this is the only way my makeup doesn’t move, but I mean it does not move,” she emphasized.
Another technique for budge-proof makeup, she added, is to change up your foundation routine.
“You may want to look into different foundations,” she said.
“I mix two separate foundations with the spray to get the finish I’m after.”
