New video released of man accused of crashing vehicle into a Long Island nail salon
DEER PARK, N.Y. (PIX11) – A man accused of crashing his vehicle into a Long Island nail salon in June, killing four people, was indicted by a Suffolk County grand jury on 38 charges
Suffolk County prosecutors released this chilling video they said shows a drunk 64-year-old Stephen Schwally driving erratically and at a high rate of speed through various locations in Deer Park on June 28.
At one point he narrowly misses hitting two people who have just exited a department store. Ultimately police said Schwally slammed his car into the Hawaii Nail and Spa on Grand Boulevard.
The salon owner, two employees, and an off-duty NYPD officer were killed.
Authorities also released this video of Schwally buying alcohol at a liquor store shortly before the crash.
Of the 38 charges filed against Schwally, 28 are felonies including four murder charges.
