Guilty plea in vehicle theft, high speed chase

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A man pleaded guilty to stealing a pickup truck in Clifton Park and leading police on a high speed chase.

According to the Saratoga County District Attorney's Office, Jacob Hayner admitted that back in May he stole a truck at a Stewart's and fled on the Northway. He was later surrounded by state police and the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office after leading them on a chase.

He also admitted to intentionally ramming a deputy's car. No one was injured.
