Nigeria protests: Police arrest four for burning down police compartment in Abuja

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has arrested four individuals in connection with burning down a police compartment during nationwide protests over the rising cost of living in Nigeria. In a statement released on August 1, spokesperson for the FCT Police Josephine Adeh said the arrested individuals burned down a police container compartment at the Nyanya checkpoint, not the entire Nyanya police division as some reports had claimed.
