Firefighters battle Midwest City house fire

MIDWEST CITY, Okla. (KFOR) - Two people were taken to a hospital after a house fire in Midwest City Thursday morning.
The Midwest City Fire Department responded to a home near N. Key Blvd. around 9 a.m. Upon arrival, firefighters saw flames and smoke coming from the structure, officials say.
According to the fire department, one adult and one child were rescued from the home. Both were taken to a nearby hospital.
Fire officials say the adult's condition is unknown, but the child did not survive.
The cause of this fire has not been determined.
