Gogglebox legends tease huge return to screens as ‘homeless & broke’ star confesses she’s never been busier
TWO Gogglebox icons have teased that they could be set to make a grand return to screens seven years after they were last seen on the coach potato show.
Sandra Martin, 62, and her TV pal Sandi Bogle, 59, became the first break-out stars of the hit Channel 4 series.

Although the ladies haven’t been on screens for a number of years, they have teased that a return to television is imminent.
Sandra even admitted they had their eye on streaming service Netflix to work with on brand new projects.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun at the National Reality TV Awards, Sandra said: “To tell you the honest truth, I would rather us now be on Netflix at the moment.
“But you will be seeing us doing something together again in the future!”
When asked if a return to Gogglebox was on the cards, Sandi remained coy as she said fan “may” get to see them return one day to the show that catapulted them to fame.
Elsewhere, Sandra revealed that she was busier than ever after previously confessing to being “homeless and broke” despite her TV fame.
Earlier this year, the grandmother-of-five has gone from having “everything paid for” by Gogglebox to being jobless, living in temporary accommodation and flogging merchandise to pay for food.
She admitted she was “broke” and living on £238-a-month Universal Credit, but was still enjoying lavish holidays too – much to the annoyance of online trolls.
Now it seems that her fortunes could have turned around after she admitted that her year was “fully booked” out with work and packed to the brim with opportunities.
Sandra told The Sun: “Well, I’ve got some things going on – at the moment, I am totally booked out!
“I’ve got other things going on soon but I can’t say what it is. But you will be seeing me very shortly.”
Sandra found that she was living a life of luxury after shooting to TV fame and had previously told The Sun how all her bills were paid for by TV producers.
She said: “I got paid more than anyone else, more than any of the other families because they were working and I had to come off benefits to appear on the show.
“All the bills that you have to pay for in life they dealt with for me and left me around £300 to £500 a week on top of that to get my hair and nails done and other expenses.
“I could have bought a house with all the money I made but I gave it away, I took care of my family and friends. I filled their fridges, took them shopping to buy clothes and paid for meals.
“I also didn’t like wearing the same clothes twice, I thought I was the Queen. I saw that she did it and decided to do the same.
“I ate good, got my hair done and got taxis everywhere, I love calling for cabs. I didn’t know how to be a celebrity and while I could have spent more wisely I didn’t want to be a miser and tight.”
