1. Police investigating homicide in Schenectady

Patrol officers responded to an address on Charles Street between State Street and Albany Street at around 8:21 p.m. on Wednesday for a report of a woman who had been shot. Upon arrival, police say they found a woman suffering from a gunshot who was pronounced dead at the scene.

2. Ninety Nine Restaurant in Colonie set to close

The Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub at 107 Wolf Road in Colonie is set to permanently close its doors. The restaurant will be closing as of Sunday, August 11.

3. Police investigate armed robbery in Albany

Albany Police are investigating an armed robbery from Wednesday afternoon. Police say it happened at Pearl Street Discount and Beauty located at 141 South Pearl Street.
