KATIE Price has bragged to pals that she wants to be a jailbird after snubbing her bankruptcy court hearing to have a facelift in Turkey.

The former glamour model, 46, was due to appear in front of a judge on Tuesday morning as part of her £760,000 bankruptcy fight but failed to turn up.

Instead, Katie jetted off to Turkey with her boyfriend, former MAFs star JJ Slater, 31, and her son Harvey, 21.

After missing the bankruptcy hearing for a second time, a warrant was issued for her arrest.

The Sun previously revealed Katie flew to Turkey to undergo £10k worth of plastic surgery and she’s in no rush to get back to the UK.

Pals of Katie claim she isn’t bothered about what’s happening and is planning to enjoy her holiday, and may even extend it.

A friend of Katie said: “Katie has been telling people that she doesn’t care if she goes to jail, she thinks it’ll just be like the time she spent in The Priory.

“She thinks she’ll finally be able to get some peace and quiet while she’s away from everyone, and could even make some money out of it too.

“She reckons she’ll be able to cash in because everyone will want to know all about it, either through another TV show or book.

“Katie’s even boasted about being a ‘good jailbird’, which seems a bit tasteless.

“But really, she doesn’t think that it will ever happen. It’s all a bit of bravado, she thinks she’s untouchable.”

Katie was due in court on Tuesday to answer questions about her finances.

But Katie has been busy abroad.

The star has insisted that she does plan to enjoy her holiday in Turkey, despite missing court and a warrant being issued for her arrest.

Sharing a snap of her eldest son, Harvey, on Instagram, Katie said: “Going to enjoy my holiday work trip filming with Harvey Price.”

The Sun can reveal that the former model is having surgery on her eyes and under her chin in Istanbul after her usual surgeon refused to complete the work.
