Govt to keep a watch on prices of 16 more food items

The government will monitor daily prices of 16 more essential food items from August 1, increasing the total to 38. This initiative is intended to stabilize prices and help with policy decisions. An updated app was introduced for easier price reporting. Additionally, a fund of Rs 10,000 crore was set aside for price stabilization.
