On Saturday, the Nampa Police Department appealed to the public for help identifying an individual who pushed over an elderly man with a walker in a parking lot.

“Today at approximately 11:45, in a parking lot in front of District 208, the man in this video pushed an elderly man to the ground after they exchanged words about a parking issue,” police said on Friday.

“After pushing the man down, the suspect left him on the ground and drove away in a raised up black 4 door truck with Texas license plate.”

Shocking dashcam footage showing the incident was shared alongside the police appeal.

In the clip, a man who has since been identified as Rivera can be seen in a sports jersey and cap approaching a senior who is walking past the truck.

Rivera can be seen grabbing the walker and throwing it on the ground, taking the man down with it.

Some angry words were exchanged between the pair while the man who is in his 60s was still on the ground.

Another vehicle in the parking lot was forced to swerve around the victim before Rivera got back into his vehicle and fled.

The elderly man was helped to his feet and was not hurt in the incident.

Rivera, known for playing the green ranger in the Power Rangers movie franchise was identified after the truck in the video was linked to him, police spokesperson Carmen Boeger confirmed.

The vehicle was parked in a disabled spot at the District 208 shopping center on Friday, July 26th when the incident took place.

Cops have issued a misdemeanor arrest warrant for the actor accused of battery.

Such a charge carries a maximum sentence of six months and a fine of up to $1,000.

As of Wednesday night, the actor had not turned himself into the authorities.

The 35-year-old actor who was due to appear at the Magic Valley Comic-Con in Idaho this weekend has been removed as a special guest.

His photograph no longer features in the line-up on the convention website as organizers vow to “take appropriate action.”
