Green Power Ranger wanted by cops for ‘assaulting’ man with walker over parking issue as shocking footage released
POWER Rangers actor Hector David Rivera is wanted by cops after horror footage appeared to show him assaulting an elderly man with a walker.
Tempers seemed to flare in the parking lot of a shopping center in Nampa, Idaho over a disabled space with Rivera grabbing the walker and sending it and its owner tumbling to the ground.

“Today at approximately 11:45, in a parking lot in front of District 208, the man in this video pushed an elderly man to the ground after they exchanged words about a parking issue,” police said on Friday.
“After pushing the man down, the suspect left him on the ground and drove away in a raised up black 4 door truck with Texas license plate.”
Shocking dashcam footage showing the incident was shared alongside the police appeal.
In the clip, a man who has since been identified as Rivera can be seen in a sports jersey and cap approaching a senior who is walking past the truck.
Rivera can be seen grabbing the walker and throwing it on the ground, taking the man down with it.
Some angry words were exchanged between the pair while the man who is in his 60s was still on the ground.
Another vehicle in the parking lot was forced to swerve around the victim before Rivera got back into his vehicle and fled.
The elderly man was helped to his feet and was not hurt in the incident.
Rivera, known for playing the green ranger in the Power Rangers movie franchise was identified after the truck in the video was linked to him, police spokesperson Carmen Boeger confirmed.
The vehicle was parked in a disabled spot at the District 208 shopping center on Friday, July 26th when the incident took place.
Cops have issued a misdemeanor arrest warrant for the actor accused of battery.
Such a charge carries a maximum sentence of six months and a fine of up to $1,000.
As of Wednesday night, the actor had not turned himself into the authorities.
The 35-year-old actor who was due to appear at the Magic Valley Comic-Con in Idaho this weekend has been removed as a special guest.
His photograph no longer features in the line-up on the convention website as organizers vow to “take appropriate action.”
Who is Hector David Rivera?
Hector David Rivera, from New Haven, Connecticut, goes by the stage name Hector David Jr.
The 35-year-old actor starred as the green Power Ranger in the TV series reboot and films Power Rangers Samurai, Power Rangers Megaforce, and Power Rangers Super Megaforce.
While playing the green ranger between 2011 and 2015, he was also part of the 26-episode series East Los High in 2013, the short film Shadow Wars, and the TV series The Dead Diaries.
Hector Jr is also known for being in HBO’s Father of the Bride movie in 2022 and the 2010 film Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief.
His upcoming productions are The Legend of Johnny Jones, The Merry Gentlemen, Once Upon a Christmas Eve, and YouthQuake.
“We are just finding out about this ourselves. We are looking into it and will take appropriate action,” the event’s marketing director, Larissa Long, told NBC affiliate KTBV7.
On Wednesday, Magic Valley Comic-Con confirmed that the actor would no longer be attending the convention.
In addition to Power Rangers, the actor has also been featured in the 2010 movies Percy Jackson & the Lightning Thief, Cheerleader Camp, Keeping Up with the Joneses, and Father of the Bride.
He is also due to appear in four new shows including the horror film The Legend of Johnny Jones set for release this year.
Other upcoming productions include YouthQuake, Once Upon a Christmas Eve, and Netflix’s The Merry Gentlemen.
