Man Utd Don’t Have Long-Term Concerns About Leny Yoro’s Fitness
Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid did not pull out of deals to sign Leny Yoro due to fears of his long-term physical condition and Manchester United did not find any issues in his medical, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Yoro fractured his metatarsal during pre-season and has been ruled out of action for the next three months.
Manchester United beat PSG and Real Madrid to the signature of the teenage defender with a deal worth up to €70m.
There are claims that PSG and Real Madrid had long-term fears about the defender’s physical condition and were not prepared to pay a big fee because of their worries.
Those suggestions have been rubbished and there are no long-term physical issues with Yoro at the moment.
Manchester United have all the guarantees they need about the 18-year-old defender’s physical conditioning.
There were no issues in his medical and Manchester United are sure about his long-term fitness.
Yoro will now have to wait until October to make his official debut for Manchester United though.
