“So you think it’s entertaining to just be a d-ckhead and piss people off,” the rapper asked his Slim Shady self. “Look, man. I’ve grown up, bro. My fanbase has grown up. The world’s changed. F-cking people are way more sensitive now. Every other week on TikTok, Gen Z discovers you on Monday and cancels me on Tuesday. ”
Marshall referred to Slim as being “so fucking cringe, man.”
“I invented you ‘cuz my life was f-cked up. My music was going nowhere, and I was broke,” he recalled. “But you didn’t fix anything. You actually made that s-it worse.”
“‘Cuz of you I almost lost my f-cking career, my f-cking family, my life,” he added.
Meanwhile, Slim replied, dragging Eminem and comparing him to Taylor Swift with her many successful eras: “You’re not f-cking Taylor Swift. You had one era that mattered – mine. Everything that people think of when they think of Eminem is f-cking yours truly. From the blonde hair to the middle finger to the f-cking jokes. All of it, me,” he said.
While the two fought it out, they found common ground upon admitting that they were both important to the success of Eminem.
“We both made Eminem. He’s the best of both of us and really it’s not about me or you. It’s about him and the fans,” Marshall said.
Speaking of Taylor, Eminem recently faced off against her on the charts. See who came out on top.
