Women compete in lifeguard competition on Long Island

LIDO BEACH, N.Y. (PIX11) – Wednesday is Lifeguard Appreciation Day. 

On Long Island, it was marked with a female lifeguard competition. More than 150 athletes braved the rough surf in Lido Beach to claim the “best on Long Island” prize.
