Another big day
Hello Friends,
As of 0600 the MHL buoy was seeing 5 metres of SE swell at 13 seconds apart. Wind was westerly early with passing showers. It’s set to swing south this morning and the swell’s expected to ease back a little as the day goes on. Dee Why was cleaner looking but still maxed out.
I’ll grab a few pictures shortly and should have them up by around 0930.
Forecast issued at 4:10 am EST on Thursday 1 August 2024.
Weather Situation
A low pressure system over the Tasman Sea is generating vigorous south to southwesterly winds and large powerful south to southeasterly swells along the coast. This system is forecast to weaken over the coming days, before a high pressure system will move over the coast during the weekend.
