Keon Coleman surprises young fan after viral moment

PITTSFORD, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A young Bills fan finally got a chance to meet one of his favorite players.

When Logan Bittner arrived at training camp with his parents Tuesday, he was hoping to just get a glimpse of Keon Coleman. Logan went viral after he sent Coleman a letter a couple of months ago. Yesterday, it was the rookie's turn to give something back.

"I did not expect him to bring a present for me," Logan said. "I was really surprised."

In his letter, the 10-year-old welcomed Coleman to Western New York with some places he could check out around the area. In addition to the letter, Logan included a friendship bracelet, which Coleman wore in his rookie photos. The interaction quickly went viral.

On Tuesday, Coleman came to say hi to Logan and surprised him with a gift basket and tickets to the Bills home opener against the Cardinals on Sept. 8 -- a very happy moment for the young fan and his parents.

"It was an amazing moment for us," Colin Bittner, Logan's dad, said. "We didn't know what to expect going into yesterday, and what it would look like. But that was pretty awesome of Keon to come out there - not necessarily with gifts, but just to spend a minute and speaking with Logan, talking with Logan, shaking hands with me and Krystle. The whole thing was unexpected."

After the friendship bracelet went viral, Logan teamed up with 26Shirts, creating and selling more just like it. A portion of the proceeds go toward Oishei Children's Hospital.

They have already raised roughly $5,000 for the hospital; Logan gave Coleman a letter to let him know.
