Congenital Hyperinsulinism (CHI) is a very complex medical condition that presents with severe hypoglycaemia (low blood glucose) in the neonatal, infancy and childhood period. The congenital hyperinsulinism centre at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital NHS Trust has treated over 700 patients andis a national and international referral centre for patients from as far as India and Malaysia.We have a dedicated and committed multidisciplinary team to deliver the best care possible to these highly complicated patients.
