Miranda Lambert Is Reportedly Concerned About Brendan McLoughlin's Behavior When She's Not Around

Miranda Lambert isn’t messing around when it comes to husband Brendan McLoughlin’s behavior lately. The 32-year-old former New York City cop seems to be on his best behavior with his wife of five years, but when he’s on his own, his flirtatious side reportedly takes over. Now, it sounds like the 40-year-old country star’s patience is starting to wear thin — and we don’t blame her!

“Miranda gave Brendan a piece of her mind and a warning he’d better mind his behavior or else,” an In Touch Weekly insider claimed. Lambert isn’t interested in being “humiliated” by McLoughlin whose rather cozy dancing with several women at his wife’s Nashville bar in June sent the internet into a tailspin. That reaction tracks with a second source who spoke to the outlet earlier in the month. “There’s absolutely no way that Miranda is staying quiet about Brendan’s flirty videos that are circulating on social media,” they said. McLoughlin’s “cheating past” is a trigger for the “Somethin’ Bad” singer and his public PDA at Casa Rosa “definitely crossed the line.”

The now-deleted video posted on TikTok showed McLoughlin dancing a little too close to comfort with a brunette as the bar’s colorful lights illuminated the dance floor. He leans into chat with the woman and warmly embraces her with a hug. Of course, that wasn’t the only other person he was seen with that night — there was also a blonde woman, who was not Lambert. The text on the video pointedly said, “Miranda Lambert come get your man.” However, Lambert has praised her husband for openly communicating with her anytime they have an issue.

We just talk it out, whatever it is, we talk about everything,” she told People in May. “And I think communication is super important, especially because women, we expect men to know what we’re thinking, and they don’t. We got to tell them.” Well, this looks like a good time for them to chat because her husband’s actions have made her uneasy. “Miranda hasn’t pulled the plug on her marriage, nor does she want to. But Brendan will be in the doghouse for a while,” the In Touch Weekly source added. 

McLoughlin was publicly outed by Carol Bruno in Us Weekly when she revealed her daughter, Jackie, was engaged to him while carrying on an affair with Kaihla Retainer, who was pregnant with his son, Landon. “The girl contacted her. Jackie was in Sweden playing professional soccer, got injured, and came home and the girl contacted her. She broke the news to her,” Carol divulged. “[Brendan] tried to deny it and then begged her to stay with him. She was only going for a few months to play, he was begging her to marry him before she left, even though he knew the girl was pregnant.”

The baby was born only three months ahead of McLoughlin’s marriage to Lambert, so the timeline is a bit sketchy. It’s probably why Lambert is so sensitive to McLoughlin’s behavior behind her back because they didn’t exactly get started on the right foot.
