WILTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- For 13 years, the Saratoga Academy of Elite Martial Arts has been operating out of the Ndakinna Education Center in Greenfield Center. Now, the school is expanding by bringing its Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program to the Wilton Mall.

Run by brothers James and Jesse Bruchac, Alliance Jiu Jitsu Saratoga is opening up in the mall's former Rue21 space. The 4,800 square-foot space is currently undergoing renovations.

The Bruchacs said they outgrew their space in Ndakinna. The Wilton Mall location will be focusing specifically on their Jiu Jitsu programs, which include Adult, Youth, and new Women's Only classes. In total, there are eight Jiu Jitsu black belts at the Saratoga Academy of Elite Martial Arts, including James, Jesse, and their father, Joe Bruchac.

"This exciting new location will offer better accessibility and expanded mat space and simultaneously allow for the growth of all our other martial arts programs and outdoor educational programming at Ndakinna," said the Bruchacs.

In addition to Jiu Jitsu, the Saratoga Academy of Elite Martial Arts offers Muay Thai, Judo and, Kyokushin classes. These classes and some Jiu Jitsu classes will continue at Ndakinna, even after Alliance Jiu Jitsu Saratoga opens.

Alliance is currently having an early bird special for those who would like to sign up to join before the new location opens. James Bruchac said they are also creating a temporary website until the new Alliance Jiu Jitsu Saratoga website is finished.

Alliance Jiu Jitsu Saratoga is set to have its grand opening in the Wilton Mall on September 12. The new space is located next to Ye Olde Gift Shoppe and Healthy Living.
