Another Heat Advisory is in effect for Acadiana today as heat index values near 115° during the afternoon. Make sure to hydrate and take breaks when working outside in this type of dangerous heat. Otherwise, rain chances stay minimal but a few pop up storms are possible around lunchtime and beyond.

The same weather continues through the rest of the workweek. Isolated to scattered rain becomes more likely this weekend, especially on Sunday. Unfortunately, the heat stays the same with high temperatures each day in the low to mid-90s.
