Boosting Kannada learning: Shaheen Group's innovative approach lauded by KDA

Shaheen Group of Institutions in Bidar created an innovative method for teaching Kannada to non-Kannada-speaking students, receiving praise from the Kannada Development Authority. Small groups of six students are assigned to a teacher who monitors daily progress. Rewards incentivize improvements, and struggling students get intensive support. Most students complete the syllabus in four months. The Academic Intensive Care Unit (AICU) has 15 dedicated teachers and maintains a 1:6 teacher-student ratio. The chairman, Dr. Abdul Khadeer, highlighted the importance of learning regional languages, drawing from personal experience.
