India saw smartphone shipments fall 2% on year in the first quarter due to a seasonal slump and a slower demand. However, 5G smartphones made up 77% of overall shipments, their highest-ever shares as average selling prices fell. During the quarter, Xiaomi reclaimed the top spot with a 23% year-on-year increase in shipments.
