40% of Indian women face workplace bias, insensitive behaviour: Report

A survey by Aon, conducted between March and June 2024, reveals significant challenges for working women in India. The study of nearly 24,000 women from over 560 companies found that 40% faced bias or potential bias, and a similar percentage experienced insensitive behavior. About 6% reported sexual harassment, with less than half formally reporting it.
