Cooking with the Stars viewers ready to vomit after Carol Vorderman makes grim blunder during show debut

VIEWERS of Cooking with the Stars have been left on the verge of ‘being sick’ after a grim show moment with Carol Vorderman.

The popular ITV cooking series returned with eight new famous faces all battling it out to be crowned top celebrity chef.

In the show, the stars are paired up with an expert mentor to learn all their culinary skills and secrets in a bid to become restaurant-quality chefs.

As the show kicked off, viewers were instantly left calling out a huge blunder with the first two contestants on the programme.

Former Countdown host Carol Vorderman and model Abbey Clancy faced off against one another as they prepared a dish to be served up.

Abbey was tasked with creating the perfect steak whilst Colin created a salmon coulibiac.

However, within seconds, fans were left issuing a major complaint about the ladies as they began to cook with their hair flowing and not tied back.

Viewers were left concerned about the hygiene as they couldn’t help but think about stray hairs falling into their food.

One sickened fan posted vomiting emojis as they said: “Does it bother anyone else that the celebs on #Cookingwiththestars don’t their hair back?? I just vision a pan full of stray hair.”

Another then added: “It’s their long hair falling all over putting me off.”

As a third barked: “For Pete’s sake, tie your hair back #cookingwiththestars.”

It was Abbey who managed to beat Carol and sail through to the next series.

Carol found herself in the cook-off alongside YouTuber and social media star Harry Pinero.

Harry was paired against Strictly Come Dancing star Pasha Kovalev but found himself cooking for a second time opposite Carol after losing his head-to-head round.

Carol and Harry were then forced to create a black forest gateau but the chefs had no idea who had created which one.

Sadly for Harry he gained the fewest votes and became the first star to be booted from the contest.
