Coaching centre deaths: Report sought on third-party audit of drain desilting; payments frozen

Delhi's Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar directed that no payments be made to contractors desilting drains until a third-party audit is completed. This move follows the tragic death of three individuals due to flooding at a library. The Urban Development Department had previously mandated third-party audits of desilting work as per a high court order.
