Emily Atack shares rare pictures of her newborn son saying she’s ‘still in the baby bubble’
EMILY Atack has shared rare pictures of her newborn son Barney, admitting she’s enjoying her “baby bubble.”
The new mum welcomed her son last month with her boyfriend, Dr Alistair Garner.
Emily, 34, has been pretty private since the birth, enjoying her time with her son.
But, now The Inbetweeners star has chosen to share more sweet snaps from the first few weeks of Barney’s life.
Showing that she is still very much in her “baby bubble,” Emily shared several photos of her cuddling her newborn on the sofa.
Another snap shared that Alistair has been a hands-on dad, spending lots of time with his little one.
Emily’s post also showcased her mum, Kate Robbins, doting on her first grandchild.
Down-to-earth Emily shows some of the lows of parenthood in her last photo, too, as she hides her tired eyes between gold under eye patches.
In amongst the photos, Emily also shared a few snaps from the hospital, including Barney’s ankle bracelet.
“Brb, still in the Barney bubble,” the actress wrote on Instagram, alongside the carousel of pictures.
Emily gave birth in June
Emily announced she had welcomed a boy in June with a sweet post.
She said: “We have a beautiful son. Barney James Garner. All my dreams have come true.”
Emily’s mum, Kate, also shared that she was smitten with Barney. “I’m a grandma for the first time! Smitten with our Barney. So happy for Emily & Alistair.”
Since then, Emily has been enjoying plenty of quality time with her son Barney.
She previously shared a video of herself staring adoringly at Barney while singing a beautiful rendition of Just Around the Riverbend from Disney‘s 1995 animated film, Pocahontas.
While Emily and Alistair have kept themselves in their baby bubble, the new parents have been out and about with Barney, too.

Earlier this month, the loved-up couple enjoyed a drink in the sun in North London, with Emily cradling their little one.
Looking very stylish, Emily wore a black maxi dress, with her hair piled on her head in a bun.
Showing just how happy they are, the couple held hands over the table and Emily was spotted laughing as they enjoyed their time out.
