Axed Love Islander embroiled in nasty row with star from past series as stars take swipes online
LOVE Island bombshell Diamante Laiva has been caught up in a row with former show star Liv Hawkins.
Diamante was a Casa Amor bombshell for the most recent series of Love Island but failed to make it into the main villa.
During the Casa recoupling, Diamante clashed with Jess White after appearing to laugh when Uma Jammeh started crying.
She spoke about the situation after leaving the show, branding Jess a “bully” in one interview – causing Liv to wade in and claim she was “disgusted” by her comments.
After the two ladies recently ended up at the same event, Diamante claimed Liv “ran away” after seeing her.
But Liv hit back, writing on social media: “This is not what happened.
“Hope she’s having fun back at her 9-5 today though. It’s hot Diamante, stay hydrated xx.”
Diamante later fired off her own response in a video, in which she said: “This is the last time I’m speaking on this situation because it’s not dragging.
“Liv, it’s not your season – Mimii and Josh have won, it’s not about you. First of all, you did run off because that’s what my eyes saw. That’s what your body did, it ran away.
“We’re not going to lie. You had your platform to say what you wanted to say to me, in front of each other, but you didn’t take that opportunity.”
Diamante continued: “Second of all I don’t work a 9-5, hun – I’m a business owner. Even if I did, is it that deep? You think that you’re better than people because you have followers.
“There’s millions of people in the UK that work 9-5 jobs, your comment is distasteful.”
Diamante previously claimed she had ‘secret scenes’ with Joey Essex that weren’t aired.
She said: “The thing with Joey, imagine… I’ve had people telling me it didn’t happen – from the outside.
“Just like, you know, people in the comments, she’s lying like sorry…
“I forgot you were there. But no, with Joey, obviously, it wasn’t like crazy. It wasn’t like the maddest like flirting.
“It was just, you know, he did say, like, you know, he would like to get to know me, but the age difference is a concern, and, yeah, it was just kind of left there really.”
